“I am not one normally for writing to companies, however today I visited
your store and felt that for once a company deserved credit where it is
rightfully due.I live locally and used to be a regular customer with my
children every few months as they grew, they always loved visiting and
no matter how much fuss one of my kids made having shoes fitted your
staff were endlessly patient. Sadly I have not called in much since
then, until today. I was treated to lunch. I was totally bowled over
with everything. Your menu is varied, freshly prepared and very
importantly for me not just hot but piping hot. Your staff are
outstanding, friendly ,attentive and with some lovely attention to
detail, like hot water with your tea and the waitress( who was new) even
wiping a tiny bit of lasagne of my plate as she set it down. I got the
genuine feeling that all your staff really did care and the level of
service was amazing, even when it got quite busy the staff handled it
effortlessly we got asked twice if everything was OK and it was so sweet
to see mints and aniseed balls on the counter such an old fashioned but
lovely touch. After coming home I googled yourselves and was surprised
you have an online store and doing really well with prices and stock
too. Like I said I never write to complain or compliment but I just felt
so strongly that in a town that's sadly seen such a decline its lovely
to see that you not just still around, but you have moved with the times
too. Well done I will be shopping and eating with you in the very near
future. .”
